Happy Monday everyone, hope you all has a nice weekend. We have a few new items added to the update today, be sure to read the whole thing. Remember, Gup Testing is this week as well as the 65% Black Belt Qualifying exam, which means NO classes this Friday.

The date for the first black belt pre-exam is Friday 3/20/2026. 5:30pm
ANYONE who holds the rank of RED and above is invited to come an ‘try’ it.
ANYONE who is eligible in the year 2026 (even December final) is invited to also try it as an accurate way to determine level of readiness You know… for the fun of it.

MINI MARTIAL MARCH MADNESS
Get ready for a morning of excitement, friendly competition, and martial arts fun! On Saturday, March 28th at 9:00 AM, we’re hosting a special RMAI Kids Tournament for students ages 11 and under. This spur-of-the-moment event is designed to be high-energy, encouraging, and packed with action. Students will compete in traditional events like forms, weapons, sparring, and breaking, along with a variety of martial arts–themed skills challenges and games that test speed, focus, balance, and warrior spirit. Gold medals will be awarded to the winner of each event, division champions will earn trophies, and one outstanding competitor will take home the Overall Champion Cup Trophy! Entry is $40, and whether your child is chasing victory or just looking for a fun challenge, this is a fantastic opportunity to build confidence, test their skills, and enjoy an unforgettable morning with their fellow martial artists. SPRING SCHEDULE:
Once again it’s time for us to release our Spring Schedule. We are always looking to adjust our schedule to try and best serve our members. Sometimes when one class gets too big, we attempt to split it up to provide a better student to instructor ratio. We understand evening hours are primetime, and with the children still being in school, time is valuable. We are releasing our tentative spring schedule which will go into effect on April 5th. Note we are offering both a later time for those who have after school activities, and a later time for those who’d rather get their class in before dinner. We hope this adjustment will help you. PRE-2026 ENROLLMENTS CLASS ADDITIONS
Beginning this spring, we are currently revamping our membership structure for new students. In addition, current members who enrolled in classes prior to January 1st of this year have been granted an extra day of training per week. We wanted to thank those of you have been loyal RMAI members, that if you’d like to attend 3 instead of 2 days per week, you now may without additional charges… also those who now are on programs for 3 days per week and would like to upgrade to unlimited, we are offering unlimited training at a discount. See a staff member for details. Once we release our new programs, the discounts will no longer be available.
VIP CLUB
Last year we offered a special exclusive membership around this time a year for students who wanted to take part in a new club filled with specialized training. We only offered the program to 12 members. We are in the process of opening it up again to only an additional 6 members. If you’re interested in this program, we are taking applications beginning again on March 24th, see a staff member for details.
SUMMER CAMP
For the students who were asking about summer camp, sign-ups are now LIVE! Ages are 7 and up. Week 1 begins June 22, Week 2 Begins July 6. Links to sign up are below:
MARTIAL ARTS PHOTOS by RMAPCO
Mark your calendars for the date of Tuesday May 5th beginning at 3:00 for our annual visit by Mr. Robertson and RMAPCO martial arts photography. Students will have the opportunity to take photos, and purchase photo packages. Anyone who comes in and gets their photo taken will be put on our annual photo boards like the ones in our foyer. This is an opportunity for the black belts to come in and get their official black belt portrait to be hung in the studio. Those who have been promoted to higher ranks of black belt, can get their updated photo done. You do not need to purchase a black belt photo, Master Celona purchases the black belt photo to hang in the studio, but you do need to come in and get the photo taken. Sign-up sheet will be on the bulletin board once the package from RMAPCO arrives.
