SWARTHMORE FUN FAIR - 9/18

Like a lot of things that are coming up for the remainder of the year, we are reprising our presence at this year’s Swarthmore Fun Fair. On Sunday, September 18th, we will be hosting our own booth within the Swarthmore Village. This is a chance for us as to show off our awesome school to those in the community and convince them to be warriors in training like us. Maybe not that exact wording but you know what I mean. Students are encouraged attend in full uniform help demonstrate some skills, do a little breaking, and just show why RMAI is the place to be. As of right now, the parade is back on, and there will be a signup sheet in the lobby, so get your name on it…

FREE MARTIAL ARTS INTRO LESSON - 9/30 7:00pm

Have you or someone you know been interested in trying martial arts but maybe have been too apprehensive or skeptical to make that first step? Well, I’ll let you in on a little secret, those feelings are totally normal. That’s why we’ve created a special RMAI intro class specifically for any newcomers who are interested in not only training their body but their mind and spirit as well. This will be a great chance to see what our martial arts training is all about without the added pressure of sparring black belts or doing flying headbutts through cinderblocks…we’ll save that for your second class. SELF-DEFENSE SEMINAR - 10/8 1:00pm $50

In the past, we’ve had lots of requests for Self-defense seminars, while the active members get to work on self-defense skills, week after week, month after month… That leaves parents and other family members out regarding self-defense training. While it is our belief that personal security is up to the individual. Most people do not train and take a proactive approach to the concept of self-protection. Although, I personally feel as though EVERYONE (yes, everyone) should train regularly, many people simply do not make the time. That being said… a little bit of training is better than nothing, right? We are hosting a beginner level self-defense class on Saturday October 8th from 1 to 3pm. Price is $50 (which is a steal), but the value in what will be covered is priceless. FLYERS DEMO

We are now accepting the payments for tickets for the Flyers Demo at the Wells Fargo Center. Please do take care of this right away so we can order our tickets on time. NOTE: If you put your name on the list for the Demo, you MUST purchase a ticket, or you will NOT be let in the building. Also, do your best to make as many as the practices as you can. For the Little Champions, we will select a few of the class times to work on our demo (as to not make the attempt to have them in studio at late practices). For students attending the group practice, here's the remaining schedule:

BUNHAE SEMINAR 11/19 10:00am - 2:00pm

Bunhae is the process of breaking down and analyzing the techniques found in traditional martial arts. If you've been interested in learning to better understand the techniques you've been practicing, this event is for you.

This seminar is a continuation on last year's seminar and will build upon the things we've been working on in class for the last year. Let's take this journey to the next level! Must be at least 12 yrs old, OR a Red Belt to attend. Space is limited. Reserve your spot right away. Price is $50
