Welcome to RMAI Fitness,

Our Mission here at RMAI Fitness is to generate a great experience in fitness and help you obtain the goals that you've laid out for yourself through nutritional guidance and instructional and educational workouts. Our two amazing trainers Joe Falcone and Shannon Hurst are here to help every step of the way. Their primary focus is you and your long term success. Whatever your goal may be we're here to help guide and support you all the way to the finish line and beyond.


Joe Falcone


My name is Joe and I’m one of the trainers here at RMAI Fitness. To give a little background about myself, I’ve been into weightlifting and fitness since about the age of 14. I was a high school athlete working out in his offseason to get ready for upcoming seasons. The first time entering a weight room I recall, was my freshman year of high school for wrestling. I began playing football my sophomore year of high school and lifting in the off season to get ready for next year. That’s when I really started to grow interest in lifting and from this point on I would workout consistently for the most part teaching myself a lot about lifting and fitness along the way. After leaving college I made the decision to get my certification for personal training from AAAI/ISMA. I passed the test and a year later found myself as a personal trainer at a corporate gym around where I live. I trained there for approximately 2 years until moving here to chase my dream of training my clients under my own terms.

My training is based off of a few things. The biggest thing that I focus on is habit change and trying to create small sustainable changes that just become mindlessly habitual for you. The next is going to be exercise and finding ways to exercise throughout the day even if it means just making some small changes to your daily activity to incorporate more movement. And the last being your nutrition, making sure that you have the right nutrients and caloric intake to see success.

Shannon Hurst

Hey guys! My names Shannon. I’m one of the trainers at RMAI Fitness and I’m here to tell you a little bit about myself! ⁣⁣

I was always involved in sports growing up mainly basketball, field hockey and volleyball. I loved the games, but hate the workouts and the running for most of my life. It wasn’t until about 2011 I started my personal fitness journey and truly started to love working out. ⁣⁣

⁣⁣I started working out because I was self conscious of my appearance and struggled with my self-image. I instantly started to love going to the gym and pushing myself to new levels. It felt great to continuously show up for myself. ⁣⁣

⁣⁣I aimlessly worked out for many years not really sure what I was doing and overly focusing on the idea of “skinny” rather than fit/healthy. Starting in college that changed for me and I started to take strength training and working out more seriously. I began to read up on different topics, educate myself and start on my personal training certification. ⁣⁣

⁣I am now a certified trainer through ACE (American Council on Exercise). I’ve been personal training as a job for about 2 years now (though I’ve been helping family and friends for much longer than that). ⁣⁣

⁣I love this career and being able to help people everyday. 𝐌𝐲 𝐠𝐨𝐚𝐥 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥. I do this by focusing on your habits and what works best for you! We want to make to make life-long improvements that won’t feeling overwhelming. ⁣⁣
