Martial arts training requires weapons-handling, falling and landing on cushioned mats, and doing exercises and drills that require getting down on the floor. As such, we take great pride in keeping our matted floors impeccably clean, and our equipment safe and up to date. You'll have no worries working with our equipment. And the moment you walk through our doors, you'll notice that we take great care of our studio - because we want you to have a great experience here.
Entire families train with us here. Kids train with kids. Adults train with adults. Lots of our members live within walking distance of each other, and many are friends outside of our classes. Students who have been training for a while help out the beginners. Exercises often require partners, and students take advantage of this to encourage and cheer each other on.

European martial arts date back to ancient Greece, where boxing is said to have originated. Asian martial arts are said to go back as early as the late 1st millennium BC. One thing is clear: for thousands of years self-defense has been a widely sought-after skill for men and women alike. Martial arts training has traditionally focused on physical, mental and spiritual growth. A master martial artist is one who is physically strong and in excellent shape, has a clear, sharp mind, and is spiritually at peace with himself and the rest of the world. While on the surface it may seem like “just punches and kicks”, it's clear there's a lot of depth & profundity in the training & practice.
Parents of our students often love these classes just as much as their kids do - if not more. After all, they teach discipline, focus, and respect to kids of all ages. The result: they do better in school, are better-behaved everywhere they go, and treat themselves and everyone else with a deeper sense of respect. And of course, kids love these classes too. Every class has the perfect blend of fun activities and games to keep their attention - as well as times of pure focus as they learn new techniques, perfect old ones, and help each other improve in the martial arts.
Kickboxing is a combination of Asian martial arts like Karate, Muay Thai, and western boxing. It uses the fluid, powerful kicks from the Asian martial arts and the fast, intense punches from western boxing. While these classes don't focus on the combat / self-defense aspects of kickboxing—and are focused entirely on fitness and fat loss—you'll still have fun learning real-life techniques used by professional fighters. The classes also allow you to go at your own pace, making them great for men and women of all ages, shapes and sizes. Beginners are warmly welcome.
